What Is A Twitterview - The Elevator Pitch
A reader pointed out to me that I was getting a bit ahead of myself going out to seek Twitterviews without ever explaining (a) what a Twitterview is and (b) what my vision for this site is. So here it is in short elevator pitch style.
A Twitterview is exactly as it seems. We find a mutually agreeable time to spend 15-20 minutes talking via Twitter Direct and I get to ask questions in 140 characters or less while my Twitterviewee also has to answer them in the same 140 characters or less.
How is this of value you ask?
Many of us use Twitter to grab tidbits of information from others, and specifically we gain insights from those we would probably never come across. I believe people like the fact that this information comes in small, digestable pieces - easily remembered and added to the knowledgebank. My goal with this site is to try to replicate that quick hit of knowledge by getting 5-7 questions answered by some of the gurus in Social Media, Digital Marketing and theĀ Networking space in general.
I am not a genius, but some of you most certainly are. I selfishly hope to learn from you but in doing so I hope that this blog will serve as a platform for others to also gain knowledge. The more people that share, the more we all gain.
So that’s it…Not extremely complex but hopefully effective.
